• “I think it is very positive that AVH has organic products in its product range”

Xenia Rosales (1976)

Logistics coordinator

Since spring 2010 I have been working for AVH dairy trade and share the responsibility for accounting
and logistics . If customers want to know all about their orders they can contact me.

Before starting to work at AVH, I had studied Economics and Commerce and had worked in an international production and trading company for eight years. It was there that I realised that I felt quite at home in an internationally orientated business; my job of logistic coordinator therefore suits me well. Besides, I like cooking and I consider dairy produce as a fine product with endless possibilities. I think it is very positive that AVH has organic products in its product range. Animal welfare, I think, is very important. Already since my teens I have been very concerned about animals, I collected autographs for instance, to incite animal friendly actions.

Here the company’s culture is personal and friendly. There is room for creativity and flexibility and taking initiative is highly appreciated. All this I try to combine in advising and helping our customers. One of the values AVH stands for is dealing with colleagues and business partners in a respectful way, something which I subscribe to. Arnauld always says: ‘Everyone has got his/her own colour’, by which he means that everyone has his/her own qualities and that we can learn from each other. I think that is a nice way of working together.

I was born in El Salvador and when I was 4 years old we moved to Holland. In El Salvador the war had just been declared, for us the reason to leave a beautiful country. I married a Dutchman and we have got two lovely daughters. I was raised bilingually, my mother always spoke in Spanish to me, something which I consider as a great advantage and I intend to raise my children likewise.

I love people and I love to meet them in all kinds of different cultures. Travelling is my passion and I take the children with me. In 2008 my family and I went to El Salvador where still many of my relatives live. My husband is, like I am, in love with El Salvador. It is lifting itself up after a very difficult period and the tourist industry is growing.
